Hello everybody my name is Peter Aftanas from the Sydney
Systema School
( www.RussianMartialArt.com.au ). I am organising Adam Vounoridis Fourth Sydney Systema
Seminar called - SYSTEMA - WINNING THE GROUND
FIGHT .
This seminar will help you to see and understand the
moves, the principles and the finishing skills that Systema brings to ground
fighting.
If you have been involved in ground fights or if you have
friends that train in ground fighting and you want to know how to "deal" with
them or if you are a ground fighter and want to know and understand how Systema
approaches the ground fight then this seminar is for you.
It will be hard, it will be tough, it will be 5 hours on
the ground learning how to "do the business" the Systema way. So if you need to
know how to WIN THE GROUND FIGHT then this seminar is for
you.
Adam Vounoridis - Background:
Adam is a Systema Instructor and teaches at his Systema
school in Melbourne. Adam moved to Systema after becoming disenchanted with a
number of other martial arts he was involved with. "It seemed like martial arts had lost its way for me until I found
Systema".
I am pleased that Adam has had the opportunity to bring
another dynamic and action packed Systema seminar to Sydney.
Systema is the
Russian Martial Art developed by the Russian Special Operations Units or
Spetsnaz. It has been used and perfected in both civilian and military
conflicts over the years.
Systema represents one of the most well
thought out and effective fighting arts in the world today. It was designed to
be practical, direct and very effective. As a military martial art it was
developed to be used in any terrain and under any compromised circumstances such
as multiple attackers, fighting with injuries, surprise attacks, as well as
fighting in situations where you may be armed or un-armed, fighting hand to hand
or defending against weapons, etc.
Systema is not a pretty martial art, it is not stylized,
it is not beautiful to watch. It is the martial art of the Russian Special
Forces - it only had be effective. The Seminar: SYSTEMA - WINNING THE
GROUND FIGHT This seminar will deal with the more practical applications of Systema including: - Russian conditioning exercises.
